O knize

Daphne Verus never planned to enter the competition for a prince. Now she is expected to leave her village and train beneath the mountain with Kronos Seneca, a basilisk whose power should make refusing him impossible. Instead, he respects the one limit she sets: no sex. For a woman accustomed to giving more than she receives, that boundary makes him unexpectedly dangerous to her heart. As attraction grows between them, their duties and ambitions threaten a connection neither can pursue without consequences. A prequel to the Split or Swallow story, published as the third series volume.
